Foreclosures and Short Sales (Buying and Selling)

Prior to the recession our founder Kimberly Koehler  had been doing a lot of work with foreclosures. She represented and assisted traditional buyers, investors and banks navigate these transactions. With Kimberly’s foresight she prepared our Realtors at Three Rivers Realty Corp for the flood of short sales and foreclosures that came to the Twin Cities real estate market during the recession.

Kimberly is credited and praised by the media for bring her education based foreclosure tours to the Twin Cities. Our Foreclosure PowerTour not only took hundreds of prospective buyers on tours of foreclosed properties but also focused on educating them on how buying a foreclosure differed from buying a home listed by a traditional seller as well purchasing a short sale. Buyers left the Foreclosure PowerTour with their eyes wide open to these three different types of transactions and better able to make the decision as to what home buying path was best for them.

New Construction (Buyers & Builders)

We have a large new construction home market. In 2013 we started to see dust slowly being brushed off the new construction market.  Now, builders are alive and thriving again, from the builders that have been house hold names for years to private builders who have been holding onto their precious lots just waiting for the market to turn around.

Over the years we have represented both small and mid size builders as well as buyers who seek to to build a new home.

There is just something about the community and lifestyle of the St. Croix River Valley that stole the heart of our owner, Kimberly Koehler.   Kimberly never seems to be short of pictures of this beloved Minnesota river valley. As you maybe able to guess the St. Croix River is where Kimberly has chosen to call home and loves assisting those who also wish to make this beautiful area their home as well. The St. Croix River Valley is not just a beautiful area filled with picturesque views, wonderful communities, and an array of activities, it’s a way of life.

KSTP, Kare11, Fox9, WCCO, NPR, the Don Shelby Show, Pioneer Press, and the Star Tribune all have recognized Three Rivers Realty’s  broker and owner Kimberly Koehler as a local real estate expert on current market conditions, market trends and for her innovation. Kimberly introduced the first tour of foreclosed properties to the Twin Cities with her successful Foreclosure PowerTour.
